1 - How can I participate in SIGeP2022?

You can participate through online presentation, publication only, or as an audience member at the event.

2 - There is any official language of the event?

Yes, english. The submission of abstract (or papers) must be written in english, even though you may present it (if applicable) in your first language.

3 - How many abstracts and/or full papers can I submit?

1 (one).

4 - How many authors can each paper present?

3 (three).

5 - How much time do I have to present my paper?

10 (ten) minutes, maximum.

6 - Where should I submit an abstract or paper?

Please, enter at mydee.pt and sign in.

7 - Deadline for:

  1. Call for Abstracts of Papers: 7 to 28th of february
  2. Registration: until 7th of march
  3. Evaluation communication: until 3th of march
  4. Program: 20th of march

8 - All the abstracts are included in the Proceedings Book?

No. Only the ones approved and presented live on the days of the event. 

9 - Is there any minimum academic qualification to attend this event?

No. Nevertheless, there are some scientific partnerships that require a minimum of qualification, and it is the responsibility of the interested parties to confirm it previously.

10 - All the authors must pay the registration fee at the event?

No. The registration fee is by submitted and approved work, regardless of the number of individuals involved.

11 - Does SIGeP offer any scholarships?

Yes. There are 5 scholarships available to give. At the time of submission, please attach under “Arquivo Complementar” your brief CV and Letter of Motivation. 

12 - As a participant of previous editions, are there any benefits?

Yes. Please, send an email to geral@sigep.pt in order to request your coupon of 10% discount. To previous participants who already had some benefits this rule does not apply.

13 - Where do I make the payment?

After fully registering at mydee.pt and work submitted and approved, all you need to do is follow the steps towards the cart. 

14 - Is there any alternative method of payment?

Yes. Please contact our team at geral@sigep.pt they will help you to secure the payment in the best way for both parties.

15 - Is there any certificate?

Yes. The Organization will provide a Presentation Certificate to all of the participants who got their work approved and present at the event. All the ones who pretend to participate in Publication only, there is no certification.

16 - What is the language of the certificate?


17 - All the authors must sign-in on the myDEE platform?

Yes. It is mandatory that all of the individuals involved in the work sign-in at the platform. Please, your email must match the one filed at the submission.
